The Michael Wilkins Fund
On September 21, 2004 Michael Wilkins, a young man lost his life in a home invasion robbery. He was murdered in front of his wife and children. Home of life Community Development Corporation (HLCDC) is accepting donations. We are trying to raise 3 million dollars to build a Youth Center in honor of Michael, which will offer an After-School Program, Mentoring, Counseling and Violence Prevention. HLCDC needs all the help we can get. This is for those that believe a tragic loss of life needs to be remembered and the memory used to improve the future of the community.
