Youth Services Program
HLCDC provides life skills and academic enrichment through programs such as after School Program, After School and Mentoring Program, Mentoring Program, and Teenage Pregnancy Programs.
Structured Recreation including sports, arts and crafts, board games, field trips, drama, dance and music is offered through our partnership with the Austin YMCA/YWCA. We offer Education/Training (one-on-one or group) tutoring, computer training, workshops, field trips, literacy, career exploration, English as a second language, job training and placement and peer leadership through our alliance with the City Colleges of Chicago, the Chicago Public Schools and the local YMCA/YWCA.
